This book was thoroughly investigated by the Greeks and it included: two papyri of the Hymn to Thoth, four about astronomy and astrology, ten religious papyri, featuring rituals and festivals, ten papyri concerning the administration of temples and priesthood, and ten other papyri concerning philosophy and general knowledge and lastly, six papyri devoted to medicine. The Greeks identified this myth with Hermes and the Hermetic texts.
