Osiris is one of Egypt’s most famous deities and is known as the God of the underworld, as well as death, resurrection, as well as controlling the floods in the Nile River, one which the Egyptians relied on greatly for agriculture. The constellation Orions belt is attributed to Osiris. Osiris is married to Isis.
