The wife of Osiris. She embodies all the feminine virtues of goodness and of the divine wife. She is attributed with the feminine power of having created and nurtured every living thing. She is also associated with the flooding of the Nile and the fertility of the land. She was also very well known for her love for her son and husband, Horus and Osiris. The constellation Sirius is attributed to Isis.
