Cult to Hathor

Apart from her various representations, one of the most famous ones is the cow head or the "Great Wild Cow" and she lived in the fields of papyrus, something she considered sacred. Hathor was so sacred that sometimes Isis was attributed to her and Isis could sometimes be called Hathor-Isis.

The rituals dedicated to Hathor involved a lot of sensual dancing and music. The cult to Hathor focused on pleasure and dancing in her honor was a way of celebrating her.

Also, there are seven Egyptian cities who honor Hathor: Hathor of Thebes, Hathor of Helipolis, Hathor of Aphroditopolis, Sinai, Memphis, Hierakonopolis, and Keset, all in Egypt.
