Hera (Juno in roman mythology) is goddess of marriage and family. Her parents are Cronus and Rhea. She is Zeus/Jupiter's sister and wife. Their other brothers and sisters were Poseidon/Neptune, Demeter/Ceres, Hades/Pluto and Hestia/Vesta. Her husband is not faithful to her and the goddess hates that; she punishes his lovers and their offsprings in cruel ways. She is the mother of Hephaestus and Ares. She competed with Athena/Minerva and Aphrodite/Venus in the judgement of Paris.

Symbols: peacocks, cows, and lions. She often wears a crown, as it can be seen on the statue.
