Hades/Pluto

Hades (Pluto in roman mythology) is the god of the underworld. His father was Cronus, a titan and his mother was Rhea. His brothers and sisters were: Zeus/Jupiter, Hera/Juno, Demeter/Ceres, Poseidon/Neptune and Hestia/Vesta. His father ate him due to a prophecy, and his brother Zeus took him out of his father's body. He fought in the Titanomachy. After winning, Hades ruled the underworld. He is married to Persephone/Proserpina, who he abducted in this myth. (Image by Aviad Bubil).
